About this site

Straight answers for military households carrying debt.

MyHopeLoan.com exists for one reason. To help veterans, service members, and military families see their real options before the pressure decides for them.

Why this site exists

Search for a military debt consolidation loan and you will find dozens of pages selling a product that most of the people searching cannot actually use. The Department of Veterans Affairs does not offer a debt consolidation loan. The term almost always refers to a VA cash-out refinance, which requires that you already own a home with equity and qualify for VA financing.

That gap between what is advertised and what is available is where people lose time, money, and confidence. We built this site to close it. We explain what each option really is, who it fits, what it costs, and what happens if it goes wrong.

Who we serve

Veterans, active duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses and families. Households that took on high-interest balances during a move, a deployment, a medical event, or a career transition, and now want one manageable payment instead of six.

Our editorial standards

Plain language first

No jargon that hides a cost. If a product has a downside, we name it in the same paragraph as the benefit.

No invented numbers

We do not publish made-up statistics, fabricated reviews, or testimonials from people who do not exist.

Options, not pressure

We show more than one path, including the path where the answer is to wait and fix something else first.

How we make money

Some links on this site are partner links. If you choose to use a service we recommend, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. That commission never changes what you pay, and it does not buy a recommendation. Every partner link on this site carries a disclosure line directly beneath the button, so you know before you click, not after.

What we are not

MyHopeLoan is not a lender, a mortgage broker, a law firm, a credit repair company, a debt settlement company, or a government agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Department of Veterans Affairs or any branch of the United States military. Nothing on this site is legal, tax, or financial advice for your specific situation.

Contact

Questions, corrections, or partnership inquiries can be sent to the email address included in every message we send from our newsletter. We read what comes in, and we correct anything we get wrong.
